Body Technician - Athens, GA

Responsible for completing high-quality auto body repairs efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

1. Perform auto body repair duties such as disassembly, removal of auto equipment, repairs by hammering, filing, filling, grinding, welding, sanding, etc., and reassembly, ensuring industry and JHCC standards are met.
2. Repair or replace defective parts.
3. Operate various hand and power tools (e.g., welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns).
4. Follow provided repair protocols.
5. Maintain strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
7. Positive attitude and teamwork orientation.
8. Perform all physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of high-quality repair techniques using current methods.
• Proficiency with all required power tools.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, ask questions, and communicate effectively.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of auto body experience.
• Experience with extensive body repairs such as metal pulling, roof repair, stud welding, rocker panels, and multi-panel repairs.
