Job summary

Hondru Auto Group is seeking a dependable, highly skilled Body Technician and Paint Technician to join our Collision Center in Manheim, PA. The role focuses on repairing vehicles per estimates, prepping bodies, painting, and ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Experience in auto body repair per manufacturer standards.
Ability to prepare vehicles for body repair work and complete repairs.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
Prepare vehicles for body repair work and complete body repairs.
Check parts against the estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.
Mask and protect parts not to be painted or coated.
Mix paint according to specifications.
Select and mix coating liquid to produce the desired color.
Paint surfaces using a sprayer or brush as appropriate.
Inspect painted units for quality of workmanship, noting runs, sags, or unpainted areas.
Maintain tools and keep equipment clean and in good repair.
Keep the work area clean.
Wear safety PPE including respirator and comply with hazardous materials regulations.
Cooperate with other personnel in repair and prepping of vehicles.
