Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Refinish Prepper to join our team. You will thoroughly sand, mask, prime and prepare each vehicle for refinishing in line with insurance guidelines and standards at the collision repair facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto body refinishing prep for collision repair.
• Ability to sand, mask, prime and prepare vehicles per insurance guidelines.
• Willingness to participate in industry training programs.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation, masking, priming, and top coating of vehicles.
• Assess bodywork to ensure a quality finish.
• Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
• Support restoration of anti-corrosion treatments and substrate identification.
