Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Refinish Prepper to prepare vehicles for refinish, thoroughly sanding, masking, priming, and prepping each vehicle for refinishing in line with insurance guidelines at the collision repair facility.

Qualifications

• Auto body refinishing experience preferred.
• Ability to sand, mask, prime and apply multiple coats.
• Follow insurance guidelines and facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
• Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
• Restoration of anti-corrosion treatments, substrate identification, product mixing, and application.
• Evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality paint job.
