Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Refinish Prepper to join our team in a fast-paced collision repair facility. The role focuses on surface preparation, masking, priming, and applying base and clear coats to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will thoroughly sand, mask, prime, and prepare each vehicle following insurance guidelines and facility standards, supporting career growth with industry training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto body refinishing prep and masking procedures.
• Ability to prime, sealers, basecoats, color coats and clear coats.
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines for refinishing and facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for refinishing by sanding, masking, priming, and applying coatings.
• Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats to achieve quality finishes.
• Evaluate bodywork to ensure high-quality paint results and restoration to pre-accident condition.
