The Boyd Group is hiring an Auto Body Refinish Prepper at our Essex, MD facility. You will thoroughly sand, mask, prime, and prepare vehicles for refinishing in accordance with insurance guidelines and facility standards.

Qualifications

• Energetic individuals with ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.
• Ability to apply multiple coats and achieve quality finishes.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
• Apply all primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
• Complete restoration tasks including anti-corrosion treatments, substrate identification, product mixing, and application.
• Evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality refinish that meets standards.
