Job summary

The Boyd Group in Carrollton, TX is seeking an Auto Body Refinish Prepper to assist in preparing vehicles for refinishing, including masking, priming, base coats, and top coats to restore each vehicle to pre-accident condition.

You will thoroughly sand, mask, prime, and prepare each vehicle for refinishing following insurance guidelines and standards at the collision repair facility. Compensation ranges from $18 to $21 per hour, with additional bonus opportunities and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
• Apply all primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
• Evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality paint job will result.
• Prepare the vehicle to ensure a quality refinish repair to restore it to pre-accident condition.
• Sands, masks, primes, and prepares each vehicle for refinishing per insurance guidelines.
