The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Refinish Prepper in Essex, MD to prepare vehicles for high-quality refinish work. You will sand, mask, prime, and prep each vehicle in accordance with insurance guidelines at the collision repair facility.

Qualifications

• Surface prep, masking, priming, and top coating are core tasks.
• Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
• Evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality refinish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for refinishing according to insurance guidelines.
• Thoroughly sand, mask, prime, and prep each vehicle for refinishing.
• Restore anti-corrosion treatments and perform substrate identification as needed.
• Ensure quality paint job results through proper evaluation of bodywork.

The Auto Body Refinish Prepper thoroughly sands, masks, primes, and prepares each vehicle for refinishing as per insurance guidelines and standards at the collision repair facility.
