Job summary

Carvana is seeking an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician to prep vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, bagging, and buffing, using state-of-the-art tools in our inspection centers. Qualified candidates should have at least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience, be at least 18 with a valid license, and be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
• Ability to prep vehicles for paint (sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, buffing).
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Some positions may be subject to an MVR check.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Overtime may be required as part of the business need.
• Use of safety equipment such as face shield, goggles, gloves, and non-slip shoes.

Responsibilities

• Prep vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, and buffing.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and proper PPE.
• Collaborate with paint and body team to ensure timely turnaround.
• Assist with related entry-level auto body tasks as needed.
