Job summary

C&L Autobody in Washington, NJ is seeking an Auto Body Parts Assistant to ensure timely delivery of parts and smooth operation of our parts department. You will work closely with vendors and the repair team to keep inventory accurate and available for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of auto body parts.
• Maintain an organized inventory system to streamline parts retrieval and restocking.
• Assist in the inspection of incoming parts for quality and accuracy, meeting high standards.
• Collaborate with the repair team to prioritize parts allocation based on project timelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members to address parts-related issues promptly.
• Support the parts manager in tracking and reporting inventory levels to prevent shortages.
• Facilitate the return process for defective or incorrect parts, ensuring swift resolution with suppliers.
