Job summary

Martin Automotive Group in Dayton, OH is seeking a Body Shop Painter to refinishing vehicles quickly with a high-quality finish that meets or exceeds the factory standard.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming vehicles, priming surfaces, mixing and labeling paints, testing color matches, and maintaining a clean, safe paint booth. Requires two years of painting experience and active OSHA/ICAR/ASE certifications, plus a valid driver's license. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Two years prior experience as a painter.
• Must have applicable state or OSHA certifications, ICAR and ASE certifications required or in process.
• Current valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle as it enters the paint shop and verify prior inspections.
• Prime repaired surfaces and mix paint for the job, labeling materials clearly.
• Check color match with test panels and perform spray out tests.
• Maintain a clean, safe paint booth and proper tool accountability.
• Communicate with Body Shop Manager about progress and next assignments.
