Job summary

Dent Wizard in Seattle is seeking a Tech - Paint Prepper to support Paint Technicians by washing vehicles, prepping panels, and removing imperfections, including masking and priming to ensure paint-only application.

You will inspect surfaces, sand and smooth, cover areas, maintain equipment, follow safety protocols, and handle hazardous materials. The role includes records keeping and acting as SME for the division, with a starting wage of $25.00–$28.00/hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in wheel refurbishing or automotive repair is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of painting and surface preparation techniques.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicles and prepare panels for paint.
