Art City Auto Body is seeking a dependable Paint Prepper to support our refinish department. This role is essential to ensuring vehicles are properly prepared for painting and refinishing, helping deliver high-quality repairs and exceptional customer satisfaction.

The Paint Prepper will sand, mask, clean, and prime surfaces, remove contaminants, and assist painters to maintain a fast-paced yet safe work environment. A valid driver\'s license and a positive, team-oriented attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive paint preparation experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of sanding, masking, and surface preparation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver\'s license and acceptable driving record.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint application by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming.
• Remove contaminants and ensure surfaces meet quality standards before painting.
• Assist painters with vehicle movement, material preparation, and shop organization.
• Perform final cleaning and inspection of vehicles prior to paint application.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
