Job summary

Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet is looking for a Body Shop/Frame Technician to join our Glen Ellyn, IL team. This is a full-time, union position offering competitive pay between $70,000 and $120,000 based on experience. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in auto body repair and a commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities include performing body repairs and frame straightening, as well as communicating effectively with customers and service advisors to meet expectations. We offer numerous benefits such as medical insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Body Shop/Frame Technician.
• ASE and/or I-CAR certification preferred.
• Experience using various tools and equipment for auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent and scratch removal and panel replacement.
• Straighten frames and perform structural repairs on damaged vehicles.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and customers to ensure repair timelines are met.
