Job summary

DARCARS Collision of Fairfax is hiring for an Auto Body Shop Estimator. In this role, you will inspect and appraise customer vehicles to determine repair costs, ensuring excellent service throughout the process.

You'll work with customers and insurance companies, maintaining high standards of quality and thoroughness while managing claims and estimating repairs. Qualifications include automotive estimating experience and knowledge of insurance protocols.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of previous automotive estimator experience.
• Knowledge of major insurance program protocols.
• Prior experience as an estimator is highly preferred.
• Automotive certifications are a plus.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Examine damage to customer vehicles.
• Estimate repair costs including supplies and labor.
• Manage claim process for customers.
• Maintain customer reports and estimates.
• Conduct spot checks of completed jobs.
