Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner for Auto Bodily Injury to analyze and process complex auto and commercial transportation claims. You will review coverage, investigate, assess liability, and determine damages to ensure timely resolution at client standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of claims management experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills. Duties include litigation handling, vendor coordination, and pursuing subrogation opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years claims management experience in auto policies.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification relevant to line of business preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication; PC literate; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Process complex auto and commercial claims, including bodily injury, with proper documentation and coding.
• Manage litigation on litigated claims.
• Coordinate vendor management, including independent adjusters for investigation.
• Report large claims to excess carriers.
• Develop action plans to meet state deadlines and drive timely resolutions.
• Identify subrogation and salvage opportunities.
