Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner for Auto Bodily Injury to analyze and process complex claims, review coverage, investigate liability and assess damages. You will manage claims within service expectations and client requirements, coordinating with insureds, clients and brokers as needed.

The role requires strong communication skills, claims experience, licensing as applicable, and the ability to work in a team. A flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification in the line of business is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication; PC literate.

Responsibilities

• Process complex auto bodily injury and commercial transportation claims with proper documentation.
• Handle litigation processes on litigated claims.
• Coordinate vendor management including independent adjusters.
• Report large claims to excess carriers.
• Develop action plans to meet state contact deadlines and resolve files promptly.
• Identify subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; secure salvage.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client and broker as appropriate.
• Support the organization's quality programs.
