• Advanced negotiation and technical claim handling skills, including knowledge of coverage and tort laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and analyze information related to claims
• Make coverage determinations and communicate positions to insureds and other parties
• Set and monitor expense and indemnity reserves within authority levels
• Present cases to management for reserve authority above established levels
• Develop and implement resolution strategies for high-quality outcomes
• Proactively manage litigation and counsel, including planning and budgeting
• Attend trials and mediations as necessary

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Auto and General Liability Claims Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role is focused on managing complex litigated auto and general liability claims with a strong emphasis on coverage analysis, litigation oversight, and effective resolution strategy. The specialist will partner closely with counsel and internal stakeholders to drive sound claim outcomes while protecting financial performance. This position also supports reserve management, case presentation, and participation in audits and other operational initiatives.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $107,600 – $161,400 annually

Responsibilities
