Mercyhealth is seeking an Autism Technician to provide behavioral services to patients in the autism program under supervision. The role involves participating in the treatment team, documenting progress, and supporting the plan with de-escalation techniques.
Schedule includes Monday-Friday day time hours with two evenings per week until 7:00pm. Requires 40 hours autism orientation, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and threat-confrontation certification on the job within 90 days.
The Autism Technician, under supervision, provides behavioral services to patients in the autism program. They participate in the treatment team and carries out services as described on the treatment plan. This role includes the following duties and actively supports the mission statement of Mercy Behavioral Health Services.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day time hours with two evenings per week until 7:00pm. Shift: Days.
Must complete 40 hours of specified orientation on autism and application of techniques.
To perform this job successfully, basic computer skills are required.
Requires a high level of independent judgment.
