The position requires CPR/BLS within 90 days, completion of 40 hours autism orientation, and a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving records. Schedule is 20 hours/week, days, with pay range listed.
Overview The Autism Technician, under supervision, provides behavioral services to patients in the autism program. They participate in the treatment team and carries out services as described on the treatment plan. This role includes the following duties and actively supports the mission statement of Mercy Behavioral Health Services. Schedule: 20 hours/week - could be scheduled until 7:00pm Shift: Days

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and 25 to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include frequent close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Occasional ability to focus is required. The employee will need to maintain current de-escalation training and utilize de-escalation techniques on a daily basis.

PAY RANGE: $19.02 - $29.48
