Maxim Healthcare Services in Vacaville, CA is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with individuals with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

The role involves delivering one-to-one behavior interventions, supporting daily activities, and collecting data per the Behavior Support Plan. CPR/First Aid are required or must be obtained, along with TB testing and a minimum age of 18.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in education or healthcare preferred.
• At least 1 year experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology/education or related field preferred.
• Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Child (or willing to obtain).
• TB test updated within past 90 days (or willing to obtain).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services.
• Assist with daily program activities across self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas; crisis intervention.
• Assist with personal care activities (bathing, hygiene, meals, dressing) as needed.
• Implement and collect data according to Behavior Support Plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred
• Current in-person CPR/ First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get)
• Updated TB test within past 90 days (or willing to get)
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
