Job summary

Central York School District in York, PA, seeks a full-time Special Education/IA/PCA Assistant- Autistic Support to join the Stony Brook Elementary instructional team. The role provides instructional support to students under certified staff supervision, fostering academic, social, and emotional growth.

The ideal candidate will assist with IEPs, monitor behavior, and offer one-on-one or small-group support to students.

Qualifications

• Provide and support students with IEPs and stay on-task.
• Work under supervision of a certified professional and building principal.
• Meet PA PDE requirements for paraprofessionals as described by CYSD.

Responsibilities

• Provide and facilitate activities in assigned subject areas.
• Assist with IEPs, monitor behavior, take notes, re-teach material, and help with homework.
• Administer quizzes/tests under guidance of teachers and participate in IEP meetings.
• Prepare learning activities, provide one-on-one assistance, and monitor student learning.
