Job summary

Prestige Caring Hands Llc seeks a dedicated Paraprofessional to support children and adults with autism in home, school, and community settings in Raleigh, NC. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs strongly preferred.
• Ability to remain patient, calm, and supportive in challenging situations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow structured plans and instructions.
• Must pass background check and meet all state requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to individuals with autism in home, school, or community environments.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans, behavioral strategies, and skill-building activities created by clinical staff.
• Support clients with daily living skills such as hygiene, meal preparation, organization, and routines.
• Encourage appropriate social interactions, communication, and coping skills.
• Use positive reinforcement, modeling, and structured teaching techniques to support learning.
• Document daily progress notes, behaviors, and activities according to agency standards.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and follow all crisis prevention and intervention procedures.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and clinical team members to ensure consistent support.
• Assist clients during community outings, appointments, recreational activities, and skill-building opportunities.
• Uphold confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards at all times.
