Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience assisting persons with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and/or Autism.
• Ability to support people with Autism and those who may display challenging behaviors.
• SCIP Certified preferred.
• Medication administration (AMAP) course and annual recertification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to document services electronically.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight to people living in the residence.
• Implement Person Centered Residential Habilitation Plans.
• Provide training and support for each person in accordance with the individual personalized program plan.
• Have scheduling flexibility; may be required to work beyond the normal shift.
• Drive agency vans and demonstrate safe driving practices.
