Job summary

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care is seeking experienced CNAs, HHAs, or RBTs to provide one-on-one in-home care for clients in Winter Park, FL. The role is in-person and offered as a 1099 Independent Contractor with flexible day/evening shifts.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of paid experience in home health or developmental services, and experience with autism or developmental disabilities. CPR and Level 2 background screening are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of paid experience in home health, behavioral support, or developmental services.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
• CPR certification and Level 2 background screening required.
• Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate or RBT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Support structured routines and transitions.
• Provide behavioral support and redirection as outlined in care plans.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and safety supervision.
• Observe and report behavioral or functional changes to the care team.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant paid experience
• Credentials:
  • Active Florida CNA license or
  • HHA certificate or
  • Active RBT certification
• Autism Experience: Prior experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
• Compliance: CPR certification and Level 2 background screening
• Reliability: Ability to commute to client homes in assigned areas
• Classification: Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor
