Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Technician (BT) or Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for a school-based assignment in Royersford, PA. You will provide one-on-one behavioral support to a high school student in an Autism Support program, collaborating with educators and specialists.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Reliable attendance and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one behavioral support to students with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral challenges.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and follow established behavioral support strategies.
• Assist students in maintaining appropriate classroom behavior, engagement, and participation.
• Support students during instructional periods, transitions, lunch, and other school-related activities.
• Utilize positive behavior support techniques and de-escalation strategies to address challenging behaviors.
• Monitor and manage behaviors including task refusal, elopement, non-compliance, and classroom avoidance.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, behavior specialists, and administrators.
• Document behavioral data, student progress, and incidents accurately and consistently.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all district, state, and federal regulations regarding student privacy.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
