Job summary

The role involves assisting with personal tasks, behavioral support, and documentation while collaborating with the teaching team. Starting immediately, candidates must have a high school diploma and a demonstrated ability to work with special needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated understanding of student needs, ability and desire to work with special needs students.
• Assist student(s) with personal needs, including but not limited to hygiene, diapering, toileting, and clothing.
• Ability to follow through with prescribed behavioral management or instructional programs.
• Maintain various records and file, parent contact may be required.

Responsibilities

• 7 hrs a day - Special Education Teacher Assistant - ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
• Location may change and/or hours may increase or decrease due to student and/or program needs.
• Work year based on student attendance.
