Atidaynu Our Future School in Brooklyn seeks a compassionate Speech Therapist specializing in autism to join our dynamic team. You will design individualized therapy plans to enhance communication skills, social interaction, and overall development for children.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid state licensure, and ASHA certification preferred. Experience in clinical, school, or home-based settings is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• State licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in NY.
• ASHA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech and language in children with autism and develop tailored therapy plans.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs addressing communication challenges.
• Educate families and guide home-based activities to reinforce goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans based on assessments.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, behavior therapists, and educators.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and apply evidence-based practices.
