Job summary

Anova Education seeks a qualified teacher for an anticipated Special Education – Autism leave replacement at Oak Tree Elementary School. The position runs from September 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026, with salary per the MTEA guide and experience.

Responsibilities include implementing an approved special education program, fostering a supportive classroom, utilizing formative assessments, and collaborating with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold a New Jersey teaching certificate; successful teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current teaching methods and pedagogy, and differentiated instruction based on learning styles.
• Knowledge of elementary school philosophy and department structure.
• Ability to use formative assessments to collect and analyze student data to monitor and track growth.
• Proficient in the use of instructional technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide an approved special education program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth;
• Help pupils develop skills, attitudes and knowledge for a foundation for continued education;
• Maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members;
• Follow best practice strategies within Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
