Job summary

Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority (SCCMHA) is seeking a Autism Services Coordinator to support children and youth aged 0-21. You will develop and monitor individual service plans, promote person-centered and trauma-informed practices, and facilitate community integration.

Working with the supervisor and clinical staff, you will coordinate Behavioral Health Treatment, liaise with providers, document assessments and progress, and help families access services and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field.
• At least 2 years’ experience with developmental disabilities and/or serious emotional disturbance.
• Valid Michigan driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to plan and organize.
• Knowledge of person-centered planning and trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develops autism-focused services and BHT interventions.
• Prepares assessments and participates in futures planning.
• Organizes planning meetings and prepares service and support plans.
• Coordinates family and inter-agency resources to support living arrangements.
• Maintains extensive documentation and ensures compliance with MH standards.
