Job summary

Shrub Oak International School seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, plan, and provide individualized communication therapy in a transdisciplinary, on-site setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with families, residential staff, and education teams to support autistic students across educational and residential environments.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and NYS licensure; experience with autism and AAC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or preferred.
• NYS Licensure in good standing preferred.
• Experience working with autistic individuals or complex communication needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech-language therapy within a transdisciplinary model.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to support student goals.
