Behavioral Health Works is hiring an ASP Intervention Specialist for our Cincinnati (Sharonville) clinic. The role focuses on delivering autism scholarship program services with a team of BCBAs, case supervisors, and technicians to support individualized goals.

You will plan and implement daily lessons, attend IEP/AEP meetings, and collaborate with districts to renew annual goals while driving progress for students with ASD and other disabilities.

Qualifications

• Background in delivering educational services to learners needing behavioral intervention.
• Experience planning and aligning IEP goals with student needs.
• Ability to collaborate with school districts for IEP renewals and submissions.

Responsabilités

• Develop and draft proposed IEP goals and submit them to districts in a timely manner.
• Attend IEP and AEP meetings, including renewals and initial assessments.
• Collaborate with BCBA(s) to ensure consistency across educational and behavioral programming.
• Create instructional materials for RBTs/IAs to support goal implementation.
• Enter IEP goals and targets into internal systems and monitor progress.
• Complete quarterly progress reports through the Ohio Department of Education portal.

Requirements

• Successfully finished RESA prior to employment beginning; hold certification for Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intense disabilities
• Demonstrated background in providing educational services to learners needing behavioral intervention
• Identify and assess students’ unique educational needs

• Utilize Unique Learning System to plan, adjust, and implement daily lesson plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with school districts to ensure annual IEP renewals
• Draft proposed IEP goals and submit them to districts in a timely manner
• Attend IEP and AEP meetings, including initial and annual renewals
• Enter IEP goals and targets into internal systems
• Create instructional materials for RBTs/IAs to support goal implementation
• Monitor student progress and adjust goals as necessary
• Collaborate with students’ BCBA(s) to ensure consistency across educational and behavioral programming
• Supervise students and RBT/Instructional Assistants (IAs) during daily classroom activities
• Provide direction, coaching, and modeling to RBTs/IAs on instructional techniques and teaching practices
• Complete quarterly progress reports through the Ohio Department of Education portal
• Navigate and utilize OH|ID Portal

Expected hours:Full-time (40 hours per week)

Schedule:

• We are open 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday-Friday, providing services within the center.
