Job summary

The Autism Treatment Center in San Antonio is hiring for Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with autism. This role involves providing personal care, managing medication, and ensuring safety during night hours.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, at least 6 months of relevant experience, and be able to maintain certifications in CPR and First Aid. The pay starts at $10.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving/direct patient care experience with references.
• Must maintain current CPR, First Aid, and SAMA certification.
• Valid Texas State Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training of personal care, communication, recreation, and dietary needs.
• Document all relevant information including medication sheets and incident reports.
• Conduct and document rounds throughout the night.
