Job summary

QSAC, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor for a Queens residential group home. The role focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment to help individuals live as independently as possible.

You will supervise Direct Support Professionals to implement treatment plans and respond to crises with appropriate medical back-up. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, AMAP/First Aid/CPR/SCIP-R certifications or ability to obtain them, and 1–2 years of OPWDD experience

• Reliable, punctual attendance and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to ensure delivery of goals and treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on supervision for individuals with autism, implementing behavior goals and plans.
• Schedule staff and coordinate transportation, meals, and activities.
• Maintain client personal allowance accounts and ensure proper medical appointments.
• Coordinate with Nurse/Medical Coordinator for medical needs and records.
