Job summary

Framingham Public Schools seeks a Special Education Assistant Teacher for the Juniper Hill Preschool Autism Program in Framingham, MA. You will assist students with disabilities under the direction of a certified teacher in a substantially separate program, providing specialized social-pragmatic, academic, and behavioral support.

The role includes ABA-based strategies, data collection, and collaboration with staff; a Parapro credential or 48 college credits is required, with a $1,500 stipend

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 credit hours or Parapro Test required.
• Experience with students with disabilities, especially Autism, preferred.
• Training in ABA or related behavioral supports desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities under supervision of a certified teacher.
• Support ASD students with social, academic and behavior goals.
• Follow IEPs and implement classroom strategies.
• Document progress and collect data.
