Hospital for Special Care seeks an Outpatient Therapy Supervisor for the Autism Program in New Britain, CT. The role supervises OP Rehab Services and directs therapy staff to meet patient care needs in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The supervisor supports leadership, allocates resources, and provides clinical and administrative guidance to ensure high-quality therapy care and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required: Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Therapeutic Recreation
• Required: Current Connecticut Licensure as or national certification as deemed necessary by specific discipline
• Required: Maintains competency requirements as defined by state practice act and professional organization standards of practice
• Required: Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
• Preferred: Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• The Rehab Supervisor oversees the operations of OP Rehab Services and performing patient care.
• Provides direction and supervision of the OP therapy personnel and supports leadership on matters related to OP therapy care.
• Allocates resources in OP settings to meet patient care needs and provides clinical, technical, educational and administrative support to the OP therapist.
