Hospital for Special Care, New Britain, CT, seeks a Rehab Supervisor to oversee outpatient rehabilitation services and supervise therapy staff. The role includes directing resources, supporting leadership on OP therapy matters, and ensuring high-quality patient care across the continuum.

The incumbent will provide clinical and administrative support, supervise training, and coordinate staffing to meet patient needs while maintaining program standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in PT/OT/SLP or Therapeutic Recreation from an accredited college or university.
• Current Connecticut licensure or national certification as required by the discipline.
• Maintains competency per state practice act and professional standards.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Preferred: CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise OP Rehab Services under the Rehab Director.
• Direct and supervise OP therapy personnel and allocate resources to meet patient care needs.
• Provide clinical, technical, educational and administrative support to OP therapists.
• Oversee performance and training to ensure quality patient care.

Education

Degree from an accredited college or university in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Therapeutic Recreation
