Job summary

29 Acres Inc. in Cross Roads, TX is seeking a part-time Life Skills Coach for the Cross Road Enrich Program. The role involves helping clients with life skills, recreational activities, and vocational opportunities, using company transportation when needed.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma or GED, some ASD experience, and must complete CPR/First Aid and CPI/Safety Care within 90 days. Expect 9am–5pm and 5–10pm shifts, Monday through Sunday, with local travel as required.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Associate degree or credits equivalent to Junior in College (at least 60 hours).
• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Some experience working with individuals with ASD or intellectual disabilities.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug test.
• Must hold a valid Texas driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.
• Must complete Company Training within 90 days: CPR, First Aid, and CPI or Safety Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide life skills training to assist clients in planning activities, vocational training, daily life skills, budgeting, cooking, social and other programs.
• Assist clients with summer recreational activities (lake sports, swimming, rock climbing).
• On-site job coaching and transportation support for community events using company vehicles.
• Collect data and observe client behavior to inform plans and progress.
