Job summary

Trellis Services in Towson, MD is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents with autism in their homes and in the community on non academic life skill goals.

This part-time position (8 to 30 hours per week, afternoons, evenings and weekends) offers flexible schedules and competitive pay. It is an excellent entry-level role for someone starting a career in special education and ABA.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old on first day of employment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Minimum 100 hours working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of a Case Manager using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Provide one-on-one support with community independence and non-academic life skills.
• Flexible afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties.
• Potential to advance into other roles at Trellis.
• Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields.
• Above minimum wage starting pay rate.
• Participation in the company 401K plan.

What You'll Be Doing
