Job summary

Oxford Hills School District is seeking qualified candidates for a Special Education Teacher at Oxford Elementary School for our autism program for grades K-6. Maine certification with endorsement #282 is required or the ability to obtain it.

Reports to the Building Principal/Director of Student Services and the position follows a 180 Day Contract. Salary ranges from $46,012.50 to $81,329.34 (SY26/27) with stipends for specific teacher roles; district offers comprehensive benefits including

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Maine certificate or the ability to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s) (#282).
• Experience designing instruction and supporting students in grades K-6 within an autism program.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support students in the K-6 autism program.
• Collaborate with school leadership and Student Services to implement Individualized Education Plans.
• Report to building principal/director of student services and contribute to a positive learning environment.
