• CT Teaching Certificate/MD/endorsement required.
• Experience with IEPs and behavior plans preferred.
• Ability to work with students with autism spectrum disorder.

Responsibilities

• Case manages development and implementation of IEPs for assigned students.
• Assists staff in implementing IEPs and behavior plans.
• Conducts diagnostic evaluations to identify learning needs and guide actions.
• Observes and collects data to evaluate progress toward IEP goals.
• Prepares and shares reports on student performance.
• Engages families with effective communication.
• Delivers differentiated and integrated instruction.
• Directs and trains paraprofessional staff.
• Coordinates schedules with staff and service providers.
• Collaborates with a team to coordinate appropriate services.
• Engages in ongoing professional learning on best practices.
