Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• A valid Colorado Teaching Certificate endorsed in area of assignment.
• Must be Highly Qualified by CDE's standards in Special Education.
• Endorsed in Special Education or PLACE Special Education Generalist exam.
• Endorsement must be Special Education.
• Applicants with a BA in ANY area may apply if in/willing to be in a Special Education program.
• Alternate licensure programs or TEEs may be considered by the Board.
