Job summary

Qualifications

• Education – High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience – One year verified experience volunteering or working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related disabilities.
• Regulatory – Minimum 21 years of age.
• Arizona Driver’s License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability coverage to meet insurance requirements.
• Must possess Level I fingerprint clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification (Employer provides).

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of activity plans for members in agency programs.
• Works with families and members to achieve goals described in the individual service plan.
• Maintains member files and program data sheets.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation and communicates with staff.
• Reports variables affecting members (illness, relocation, medication).
• Monitors self-administration of medication.
• Follows licensing and agency training requirements.
• Maintains professional boundaries and an acceptable attendance level.
• Works as a team member serving members and families.
