Job summary

Bittersweet Farms is seeking a full-time Day Program Director to lead adult autism services across Whitehouse and Lima, OH. You will supervise up to 30 Direct Support Professionals and program leaders, upholding a culture of dignity and individualized care.

You’ll oversee day programming, ISP delivery, behavior support, and program development, traveling between Whitehouse and Lima sites to ensure high-quality services and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three to five years of experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in program leadership, staff supervision, and team development.
• Knowledge of ISP implementation, behavior support strategies, program development, and outcome measurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead daily operations for Whitehouse Day Programs and Lima Day Program, including participants and staff.
• Oversee the Supported Employment Program (Offsite).
• Supervise the Community Outreach Coordinator for Social Recreation Programs in evenings and weekends.
• Ensure policies, procedures, program standards, and compliance expectations are followed.
• Collaborate on program goals, staffing, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure ISP-entitled services are provided consistently and effectively.
