Job summary

Keystone Human Services in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Casual/Per Diem Community/Direct Support Professional Float to support individuals with autism in community settings.

The role offers $19.00 per hour, rising to $21.00 per hour with a bachelor’s degree, and requires a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills. This is a casual/per diem position focused on person-directed supports and community inclusion.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence, decision-making, and community participation.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, meal planning/preparation, and promote health and wellness.
• Provide transportation and support for community activities, employment, and social engagement.
• Maintain positive, professional interactions with individuals supported, their families, and all stakeholders; coordinate services as needed.
• Administer medications per policy, schedule and attend medical appointments, and implement physician orders as directed.
• Actively participate in ISPs and attend plan meetings
