Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital in Brookline, MA, seeks an experienced social worker to provide clinical social work services for children, adolescents, and families in the Autism Spectrum Center. Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work is required.
• Experience with autism and medical social work is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services to assist patients and families with personal, family, medical and environmental difficulties.
• Perform psychosocial and risk assessments, develop and implement interventions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with health care team and community agencies to plan and follow up on treatment and services.
• Assess capacity and decision-making specific to guardianship.
