Job summary

AVD Workforce Connect in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in autistic children, delivering evidence-based language development and social communication strategies.

This full-time, direct placement role requires collaboration with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and advocate for services in a supportive, compliant clinical

Qualifications

• Active Indiana licensure required.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred; BLS certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of autism experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized tools.
• Provide direct therapy with PECS, AAC devices, and social communication strategies.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Educate families and support home practice.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals.
• Document progress and communicate with families and teams.
• Advocate for services and access to supports in the community.
• Adhere to ethical standards and regulations.
