Job summary

Ball State University is seeking a Psychologist and Director of the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (CASD). The role provides leadership for interdisciplinary services, clinical evaluations for ASD, and supervision of graduate students and staff in a university setting.

You will teach a course, oversee clinic operations, develop programs, and collaborate with community partners to advance assessment, intervention, and research across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in clinical or school psychology from an accredited university.
• Licensed Psychologist in Indiana as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP), or eligible for licensure at appointment.
• Expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Program Administration: oversee clinic operations, programming, and service delivery.
• Clinical Services & Assessment: conduct autism-related assessments and provide therapy.
• Interprofessional Collaboration: represent CASD in cross-departmental activities and partnerships.
• Teaching and Supervision: supervise graduate students and teach one course per semester.
• Student Support: assist autistic students with academic and social challenges, coordinating campus resources.
