Job summary

Ability to lift a student up to 40 pounds; two-person lift for heavier students.
Knowledge of IEP processes and behavior management.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
Develops and implements IEPs for each student on the caseload, at least annually.
Collaborates with the general education teacher and Related Services Staff to provide services.
Maintains lesson plans according to policies and directives.
Communicates with parents/guardians regularly about student progress.
Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
