Job summary

Helping Hands Family is hiring for a position that provides direct care to children with autism in various settings. Responsibilities include teaching daily living skills and implementing therapy designed by BCBAs. A high school diploma is required, along with a willingness to complete RBT training.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree in a human services area preferred).
• Comfort working with children.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, running, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients' families.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete company‑provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1‑on‑1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence‑based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with your team to support each child's progress.
